Jack McCarty was first elected as Mayor of North Richland Hills on May 4, 2024. He assumed office on May 14, 2024, and is now seeking re-election.

Born, raised and educated in North Richland Hills, Jack McCarty has deep and extensive roots in our city where he has a long record of community service.

He is a 1980 graduate of Richland High School in the Birdville Independent School District (BISD). In 1984, Jack earned his BBA degree from TCU in Accounting, and in 1997 earned his MBA degree from SMU. A certified public accountant, he has a successful record in business and has served in numerous leadership roles. Jack is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA).
